This notice explains how Don't Touch My Locs ("DTML", "we", "us") collects and uses your information when you visit dtml.co.uk or join our mailing list.
Who we are
Don't Touch My Locs is a natural haircare brand based in the UK. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about it at kinkylocs.dtml@outlook.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join our mailing list through the sign-up box on this site or in person at an event.
- Basic email activity, such as whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked, which our email provider records automatically.
We don't ask for anything else, and we don't sell your information.
How we use it
We use your email address to send you news about Don't Touch My Locs: launch news, events we're attending, and offers. We only do this because you've asked us to (your consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any of our emails, or by contacting us.
Who helps us
- Kit (kit.com) stores our mailing list and sends our emails. Kit is based in the United States, so your email address may be transferred outside the UK. Kit explains how it protects that data in its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and may process technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site.
- Google provides the map on our homepage and the fonts used on this site. Loading these sends your IP address to Google. The map may also set cookies if you interact with it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you. Our email provider may keep a record that you've unsubscribed, so you aren't accidentally added again.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct information that's wrong
- delete your information
- stop using your information

Cookies
Our website doesn't set its own cookies. The only cookies that may be set come from the embedded Google map, as described above.
